About Dr. Cox

Dr. Robert Cox knew his future when he decided to become a physician...in 9th grade! Pursuit of this dream led to a successful private practice in Internal Medicine and national recognition as a specialist in Infectious Diseases. Although his journey was one of both personal and professional evolution, one element remained constant...his passion for speaking!

Throughout his training and his years in practice, Dr. Cox addressed groups of all sizes on a wide range of issues. It became clear that whether he was speaking to a single frightened patient or to a group of professionals, he had an ability to take complex topics and to communicate them simply, so that they could be easily understood. He is now recognized as a physician who truly is a professional speaker, not just a doctor who speaks. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and he is the founder of BioForecasts. Today he uses his passion for communicating and his skill as a physician to address corporate and association audiences on the Biological Future that we will all come to see.

Dr. Cox's undergraduate education was at Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa and with honors in Biology. He then completed the equivalent of four years of medical school in just three years at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and continued there for his Internal Medicine Internship and Residency. Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases was accomplished at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, followed by 22 years of medical practice in the Denver, Colorado area.

In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Cox gained prominence in the business arena as a founding member and medical director of IVY Meds of America as well as Viatical Transitions. He served on the boards of directors of several organizations including the Association for Continuing Education, OPIVITA and Pragmatix Consulting, Inc.

The combination of successful medical practice, professional speaking and business ventures resulted in Dr. Cox receiving numerous honors and awards. These include being recognized in Denver's 5280 Magazine and in Guide to Top Doctors for his medical expertise, along with being named in America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals and in Strathmore's Who's Who.

Dr. Cox clearly is an expert.

While his own career evolved, Dr. Cox saw firsthand how medicine and biology evolved as well. This evolution has led to changes in ethics and economics, as well as to the discovery of new diseases. It was from this distinctive vantage point that he developed the concepts of Intellectual Evolution, of Universal BioConcepts and of BioForecasts, which form the foundation for his unique message. He now speaks and consults full time, sharing his knowledge and vision with audiences who will never view their world the same again!
